I picked up this book Barnes and Noble because the cover looked interesting. I finally had the chance to read it and all I can say is; I’m in love. This book amazed me and I was just blown away. The story was great and I loved the characters. The plot and all its twist had me fangirling the entire book. I got a bit emotional. Altered is an action packed, romantic, humors, thrill ride; and I absolutely loved it!

The story opens up in the lab underneath Anna’s house where 4 genetically altered boys are kept in solitude as an experiment run by “The Branch.” There’s Nick, Cas, Trev, and Sam. Sam has stolen Anna’s heart and she makes every effort to be near him.
Sam devises a plan behind her back to break out, and when they do, they take Anna with them. Along their journey to outrun The Branch, Sam and Anna discover feeling they have for each other and how their past our intertwined in ways they hadn’t imagined before.

I was pulled into this story from the beginning. The minute I joined their escape I was in for a ride. The humor between the group and the guys is hilarious and adds a lighthearted touch to the story.
The whole book I was squealing, gasping, and loving this book. All the twist and turns were mind blowing and left me speechless. Throughout the story I was hanging on the edge of my seat.

The love story between Sam and Anna is beautiful. I like that it wasn’t instant and there were twist revelations that kept them apart, because in the end it comes down to them realizing these deeper feelings they have for each other. I can’t wait to see their relationship grow.

I honestly cannot put to words how great this book is, I tried my best. All I can say is that you don’t want to pass up this read. Action packed, romantic, humors and thrilling; this is defiantly a must read!
