The Whispers of the Fallen Review

The Whispers of the Fallen by JD Netto is first and foremost and amazing book! JD’s writing style is so perfect and detailed. The story and plot was beautiful and unlike anything I’ve ever read. So many people right about nephilim and I was blown away by this take on the idea! The journey Isaac and Demetre take is action packed, full of twist and revelations.  Honestly with every page turn I didn’t know what to expect. Every character was unique and the way JD wrote them… each character had this presence of power that is beautiful. The writing and style, I will say again, was stunning. JD did such a great job of capturing the essence of the time period and the language they spoke.

Right from the beginning of the story everything launches forward. There are no dull moments and even the small parts are impactful. Isaac you can sense right way is going to turn out to be this powerful and strong character.  He grows into it as they story goes on, but his presence from the beginning radiates power. Demetre you can tell is powerful too. He lacks some of Isaac’s headstrong and leadership values but he still is a strong person.

The evil side of this world is dark and mysterious just the way I like it. There is this whole other side to the story with these evil characters. And what I found amazing is even though there the bad guys, at moments you feel for them. It’s not as cut and dry; bad vs. evil. Everyone has their story and you feel for each and every character.

So like I said before, The Whispers of the Fallen is an amazing read! It’s full of action, twist, and heartwarming moments. The story speaks of power, triumph, and finding confidence and power within you. Whispers is heart pounding, fast paced, and overall an amazing read!

    1. Ever since the dawn of days, rumors about the Diary of Lucifer echoed throughout Elysium. Hidden from all human knowledge, the Diary was kept a secret, locked away in the small village of Agalmath.

Isaac and Demetre find themselves in a dangerous journey as they uncover the truth about the Diary and those who guarded it for all these years. However, for Isaac and Demetre, danger lies at every step, hidden in the most unexpected places.

Hunted by the Nephilins and the Fallen Stars, they must find others who will join them in the battle against the coming darkness
