About the Book:

Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their radical scientific achievements. Their most astonishing invention: the Firebird, which allows users to jump into parallel universes, some vastly altered from our own. But when Marguerite’s father is murdered, the killer—her parent’s handsome and enigmatic assistant Paul—escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.

Marguerite can’t let the man who destroyed her family go free, and she races after Paul through different universes, where their lives entangle in increasingly familiar ways. With each encounter she begins to question Paul’s guilt—and her own heart. Soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is more sinister than she ever could have imagined.

A Thousand Pieces of You explores a reality where we witness the countless other lives we might lead in an amazingly intricate multiverse, and ask whether, amid infinite possibilities, one love can endure.

This was one of those great books that caught me completely by surprise! I did not know what to expect going into this book besides its premise, but once I dove in, it was nearly impossible to pull me out. This book captured me from the start and it had me in its clasp the whole book.
Gray’s story is intriguing, thrilling, and enrapturing, through and through! The characters in this book were phenomenal as well, and all of their stories hooked me.
One of my favorite things was the flow of this book. It jumped through less dimensions than I thought it would, but it surprised me in that aspect and I liked that. What was great about this element in the story was that Gray created such intricate and beautiful worlds in these other dimensions that made you want to find out more about them. I was so interested in the other worlds that I felt Marguerite’s pain when she had to leave Russia.
Speaking of Russia…wow! The time that we spent in Russia was so much fun and so beautifully written. Gray created such a great love story in this dimension, and it created so many questions when it was put into perspective with the rest of the story.
Paul. Oh, Paul. I love you! He is such an amazing character and I cannot wait to see more from him!

Overall I loved this book so much! It was absolutely fantastic and I am very excited to read the 2nd book when it comes out! 5 star book for me, you should all go out and read this book, I highly recommend it!
